First and foremost, loving the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul is the greatest command from heaven. Secondly, we are to love our brothers just as the Lord loves us and we know that to really love our brothers is to lay down our lives for them. These two commands is the great battle plan we have as Sons of God here on earth and any and all other strategies or plans we decree and declare must simply be an extension of them.

There is much preparation and planning before a great battle. In fact, I think it is safe to say when it comes to the spirit; the battle is won in our hearts before we enter the battle field. Jesus overcame the greatest battle ever on the cross the night before, as he succumbed to his father’s will and made the most amazing choice in the history of man kind, he said, “Lord, not my will, but yours be done.” He chose to love the Lord with all his heart, mind and soul.

As he was hanging on the cross, taking on the sin of the world; he interceded for us and said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Here he fulfilled the second command, loving us as the father loves us; even in the midst of complete betrayal, rejection and abandonment from the very ones he came to serve and lay his life down for.

Jesus came to secure our salvation and take back the authority that Adam and Eve relinquished to satan in the garden of Eden but he also came as a role model. We can look at him as an example of how we as born again children of God are to live a life that literally destroys the works of darkness and brings the Kingdom of Heaven here to earth.

In saying that, as we look in the gospels, we read many accounts of Jesus leaving the multitude to go and spend time in prayer with Father God. Here is one of the keys to the success of his mission on earth; abiding in His father, utter and total dependence on Him which is only possible through a real and genuine prayer life. It is through these times of prayer that he was able to be filled, encouraged, and given strategy but most importantly, these were times of great intimacy with his Father which is one of the greatest weapons in the battle of faith.

We also read many accounts of Jesus boldly prophesying his victory over the ruler of the kingdom of darkness to a generation who honestly and truly had no clue to what he was even talking about. Yes, I can see how it must have been very powerful for the apostles to look back and remember then what he had said, only confirming his divinity more and more in their hearts but something also must be said about the release of those words and the eternal effect they had as he declared them out of his mouth. We see that even though the victory had not yet happened in the timeline of mankind; in the Father’s heart and mind, it was already there. Jesus role modeled prophesying the heart of the father and here we see another key to success of his mission here on earth.

Intimate prayer with the father and boldly prophesying the heart of the Father were essential in his mission and likewise should be part of our battle plan as well. With that in mind, the Lord has given us divine strategies to see the vision of STFV to come to life. Here is how you can take part and join us in seeing the Kingdom of Heaven advanced.

The Battle Plan for STFV Summer 2009 - Kingdom Invasion

Luke 6:12 Prayer

Luke 6:12 reads “One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God”. The Lord has given us a strategy to invade heaven with prayer everyday at 6:12PM for the STFV Summer 2009 Kingdom Invasion Tour.

The prayers should be targeted to asking the Lord to use STFV 2009 Summer Kingdom Invasion to bring pockets of revival. As the Lord places words in your heart, prophesy them out loud.  The Lord has been leading some to prophesy: 

• Revival to come to the hearts of those in attendance
• Many salvations
• Healings to take place
• Hearts to be set free from depression, anxiety and unbelief
• Signs and wonders to be seen
• Families to be restored
• Outpourings of his presence
• Drug addicts to be set free
• Minds to be freed from tormenting thoughts
• Purity being restored
• Open heavens to be revealed
• Those in attendance awakened to their God given destinies
• Spiritual gifts to be imparted
• Times of throne room worship
• Baptisms of the holy spirit
• Baptisms of holy fire

We are also encouraging youth/young adult groups (or individuals) to personalize the Luke 6:12 Prayer and pray that God would meet them in an extraordinary way at the STFV Kingdom Invasion services and ignite revival in their own youth/young adult groups. 

STFV Pre Launch Services

The Lord has placed it on our hearts to have Seizing the Fire services on the last Friday of every other month at our home church, Word of Life Ministries in Fort Myers, FL. He told us to gather the area together for nights of seeking the face of God through praise, worship and prayer.

So far, the Lord has been blessing these nights with awesome outpourings of his presence, baptizing some in the holy spirit and with fire, healings, powerful prophetic words from heaven and other signs and wonders.

These services are open to anyone who is hungry for more of God and want their hearts to burn with holy fire. If you live in the area, we encourage you to come out and join us for these unforgettable times in the presence of God.

Shadrach, Mishach and Abendago challenge

We are challenging all of those that plan on attending the Seizing the Fire services to bring three new friends or family member to the next Seizing the Fire service.

In the biblical account, the three young men, Shadrach, Michach and Abendago, were thrown into the fire but instead of burning up they were protected as the appearance of the fourth man was seen in the fire; who we know was our very own Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shielding them from death. So bring three friends or family members and you can be the fourth person in the fire at Seizing the Fire.

Saturday Outreaches

We invite you all to join us for an outreach on the last Saturday before each Seizing the Fire service. We split up in groups and hit the streets telling those we come in contact with about the Seizing the Fire services. This is a great ice breaker and opens up opportunities for us to minister the love of Jesus, share personal testimonies, pray for the sick and share the gospel.

We all meet at Word of Life Ministries at a desgnated time and are usually done within 2-3 hours. Word of Life Church is located at 2150 Collier Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901. If you do plan on attending, please notify us to better help us prepare materials and plan the teams.

Please Note: If you do not live near Fort Myers, FL and cannot make it to the Seizing the Fire events or the Seizing the Final Victory Summer Kingdom invasion services, you can still take part by partnering with us in the Luke 6:12 Prayer. Furthermore, apply the other challenges to your own church. You can set a goal to invite three new friends or family members to your church services each month and you can also begin to set some days that you and some friends go out and share the gospel with those in your community. The Lord promises to be with us and confirm his Word as we go out and boldly declare the good news of the Kingdom.
